How do you form a group/party to go into the Underworld? I never have any luck.

Most people only want to make speed clear (sc) groups. An sc is where each person has a very specific build and role and they take care of a certain part to complete the area as a whole in as little time as possible. If you want to join an sc group, decide what role you want to play, look up the build and tactics on PvXWiki, and watch YouTube videos to see exactly what you're supposed to be doing. General UW experience is also highly useful.

If you want to make a 'normal' group, you'll have to rely on friends and guildies for the most part, definitely so if you're unexperienced. Random people have no patience or tolerance for people who don't know what they're doing or want to go at their own pace.

check out the thread in Pugs and Group...Shall we sing dhuum a lullaby?...if you'd like to sign up.

i have also seen people looking for groups in ToA to do FR UW. So it's not like you have to do speedclears. Hopefully with the thread that we have in that section people will be able to form groups up the "normal" way a lot more so that they don't get left out or have to do speedclears. We have fun when we go there as a party and work on each section as a party.

Best bet is to get a guild group if you want to go balanced way. At least you can trust your playing partners and you can sort of build around each other rather than 8 random builds that may or may not work together.

The Underworld is (maybe) the most difficult place in the game...Maybe only the Foundry of Failed Creation in HM is harder....

As Marty said nobody wants an inexpirienced player in the team...so you'd better group with guildies and friends....or learn the speec-clear builds and gruop in sc team

As Neith i also posted a thread in PUGS and Grouping section, but you must have a paragon to join....I'm planning to do the Underworld also.

balanced or unbalanced groups do exist and have completed the UW, NO a paragon is NOT necessary to complete it ...............SC's are also not the only form of gameplay as well. the UW was completed last night, with a balanced team. it took just over 2.5 hrs, but it wasnt meant to be a SC , it was for fun.............some people have lost sight on the purpose of this game . cheers

Tender Care was merely pointing out that HIS particular team build consists of all paragons.

You cannot force real players to play by your side, but you can force heroes and henchmen!

Aside from that, join a UW-oriented guild. Best of luck!

not uw. Your best bet would be to ask a friend to zone in with their heros with you and leave.

Lol dude.....i didn't say that SC are the only way for UW or any other elite area.......Infact i told: you'd better group with guildies or allies or friends and not random pug in TOA..

Second: if you play a balanced group an imbagon is higly recommended...think what you want...i think it's good to have it.

Third: I also did UW with guildies and allies with balanced team and we took 2 hours to do it, was actually really nice....

fourth: as jray14 said, i didn't mean you MUST have a paragon to do UW (even if would be good) but, my thread in PUGS and GROUPING is ONLY paragon----> 8 paragon in a team, that is not SC, but really funny and awesome!
